Background
For a long time, access to thought leadership, business development, and networking in the physical security industry has been pretty limited. Security company owners couldn’t get the information they needed and thought leaders had limited opportunities to share their wealth of knowledge.
There are large conferences and seminars serving the entire security industry that offer learning and networking opportunities. But historically, many small & mid-size security companies have not had the time or money to attend these large in-person events.
Regional & international associations have offered alternative in-person events and resources for thought leadership. Even though these events can be cheaper and more accessible to attend, there is usually a focus on specific sectors of the security industry and covers a more narrow range of topics.
That’s why we decided to launch Thinkcurity in August 2019. Since the beginning, we have worked hard to connect security officers, supervisors, managers & business owners to credible industry experts and hard to find content.
